Dark mode inverts the layout relationship rather than just darkening it: the content becomes the darkest layer and the sidebar lifts above it, so the rail does not disappear into the page.

TEXT SIZE

Default
Applies to the whole partner area. Spacing scales with the text so nothing gets cramped.

TIME FORMAT

Used by the clock and every timestamp in the partner area.
