Refund Policy

1. The PressWerk Service Fee (No Refunds)

PressWerk charges a flat $7 routing and preflight fee per file during network build, $20 for each file we repair, or $10 for a file that arrives press-ready. We take no percentage of the print cost. Files we determine cannot be produced are not charged at all. Because preflight and repair are delivered when you approve your proof, PressWerk service fees are final once paid at checkout. If no shop accepts your job, you keep your preflighted file and report — the fee is not reversed.

2. Print Vendor Refunds & Liability

PressWerk acts solely as a software routing gateway connecting you to local commercial print shops. We do not manufacture the physical product. Any disputes regarding print quality, shipping delays, color variances, or vendor-related mishaps must be resolved directly with the print vendor. PressWerk is not liable for physical production errors, and any print refunds are strictly at the discretion of the vendor.

3. Our Prepress Guarantee

While we do not refund the service fee, we stand by our preflight work. In the event that a file repaired by PressWerk is rejected by a vendor for not being “print-ready,” our production team will manually intervene and fix the artwork until it is successfully accepted by the press, entirely free of charge — when the shop printed the exact sealed file we delivered without alteration.
